Advisory Board

The focal portion of Indian Cyber Army will be to develop and maintain partnerships with various stakeholders that can contribute in Indians fight against Cyber Crime. This will aim to ensure the identification of relevant new partners that are emerging in the cyber crime regulation ecosystem and also cooperation with relevant law enforcement agencies, international organizations, associations, private industry, academia, civil society, public and private sectors.

The Indian Cyber Army is having various Boards and committees of persons of excellence in the respective fields as Advisor.

INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY BOARD: In International Advisory Committee, important people who have contributed their works and lives to the cause of cybercrime detection, investigation and prosecution would be invited to become members of the said committee. The said committee would advise India Cybercrime Centre on substantive programs and initiatives that India Cybercrime Centre needs to take.

LAW ENFORCEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE: In this committee, distinguished officers from the law enforcement agencies who have contributed in the fight against cybercrime would be invited to be members.

BANKING, FINANCIAL SERVICES & INSURANCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE: Given the increasing prevalence of financial cybercrimes, in this committee, distinguished people who have made their remarkable contribution in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sectors, would be invited as members.

SERVICE PROVIDERS ADVISORY COMMITTEE: In this committee, representatives from different service providers and intermediaries would be invited to be members, who could contribute in the fight against cybercrimes.

CYBER LAW ADVISORY COMMITTEE: In this committee, distinguished jurists, judges, lawyers, legal academicians and legal scholars would be invited to be members, to contribute their legal expertise in the fight against cybercrime.

CIVIL SOCIETY ADVISORY COMMITTEE: In this committee, different representatives from civil society would be invited to be members, to contribute their inputs in the fight against cybercrime.

FORENSIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE: In this committee, different representatives from various forensic entities would be invited as members to advice the Centre.

MEDIA ADVISORY COMMITTEE: In this committee, distinguished journalists who have been working in the area of reporting cyber crimes, would be invited to serve as members.

ACADEMIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE: In this committee, distinguished educationists, academicians, Vice Chancellors, professors, lecturers and readers from different universities would be invited to be members of the Academic Advisory Committee.
